Growing faith.
Shaping character.
Equipping futures.

Through the power of the gospel, confidence grows, character deepens and calling awakens. They emerge through the daily work of being known, being challenged, and being loved well. Grounded in biblical wisdom and shaped by teaching that honours how children learn, these values shape how students learn, belong, and step into who God created them to be.

COMMUNITY

Belonging that Transforms Character

Students who are truly known, meaningfully challenged, and deeply loved don’t just feel comfortable. They’re transformed. Trust deepens. Courage grows. Compassion awakens. This is what happens when families, teachers, and students share life together, young people learn to listen well, care deeply, and act with courage toward others.

FAITH

A Foundation for Meaning and Hope

Faith gives students a way to understand who they are and why their lives matter. Grounded in God’s Word, it shapes how they think, love, and respond to the world around them. As faith is lived daily, students grow with clarity, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose that guides them through both challenge and opportunity.

EXCELLENCE

Growing into Who You’re Meant to Be

Excellence calls out the best in each student, pursuing the highest good and honouring God in all we do. Through rich learning and meaningful opportunities, students develop their strengths, think deeply, and grow in confidence. They are prepared not just for what comes next, but to step into life ready to contribute with purpose, hope, and grace.

Stories of Transformation

Faith deepening. Character forming. Purpose awakening. Here’s what it actually looks like through the eyes of families, teachers, and students who experience it every day.

Jayden Mechatronic Engineering
Those mentors and that support and all those people around you that are just willing to pour in so much investment and time, it’s life-changing.
Jayden
Jayden is now studying mechatronic engineering at the University of Newcastle, after a Year 11 and Year 12 physics teacher helped him see a path that fit his love of science and programming. He says the difference was not just the course, but the people at MCS who invested in him through the transition, helping him step into life after school with confidence and a strong headspace.
Josh Alumni Story
Not only did they teach me, you know, the stuff I needed for each subject, they did give me life lessons on how to be a better person.
Josh’s Story
Josh is now studying aerospace engineering at the University of Newcastle, a path that grew out of his love of planes and a maths teacher who helped that interest become something real. He looks back on MCS as a place where he built deep connections, learned how to treat others with respect, and gained a life-changing perspective through a mission trip to the Solomon Islands.

Mission week was the best 2 weeks of high school. Being able to serve another community and get to know students from a different culture took me out of my comfort zone and got me thinking more about others and how I can help them and share Jesus’ with them. I think they changed me far more than anything I did for them.

pip and josh
We were looking for a school that would help our kids be who they are naturally gifted to be, not be put in a box. The values that Maitland Christian School comes with, and the way the teaching staff embody those values, has helped our kids reestablish their identity and confidence.
Josh and Pip
Josh and Pip’s two older sons were getting lost in the system at their previous school. Since moving to MCS, both have risen academically and taken initiative for their own learning. The teaching staff’s genuine engagement changed everything. Their kids come home talking about their teachers because the teachers genuinely love the kids. At home, the difference is clear: confidence is growing, schoolwork engagement is strong. This is what happens when teachers see students, not numbers.

Our daughter is absolutely loving kindergarten. Maitland Christian School has made it comfortable and safe for her. We are seeing so much confidence. She has been integrated into this community so well by everyone, from admin staff to teachers to groundskeepers to volunteers.
Erin
Starting kindergarten can be daunting for families, but Erin’s daughter has thrived from day one. The Prep program made the transition seamless, introducing her to school life gradually. She loves playing with friends, loves sport, loves science. Every person in the community, from teachers to groundskeepers, has welcomed her. This is the blessing of a school where everyone knows they’re part of something bigger. Growing faith, shaping character, equipping futures starts here.

Every Stage, Every Student

Partnering with families through every stage of your child’s journey, helping them discover their strengths, grow in character, and step into who God created them to be.

PREP

Belonging Begins

Where children take their first confident steps into school life. Through play-based learning grounded in biblical truth and proven early childhood methods, our youngest students discover they’re loved by God, valued in community, and capable of more than they imagined. Here, belonging awakens confidence.

PRIMARY

Foundations That Last

Where faith takes root and character forms. Through proven teaching methods that honour how God designed children to learn, students build strong literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking. Grounded in biblical wisdom and strengths-based development, they discover their unique gifts and serve others with generous hearts.
SECONDARY

Growing Purpose

Students discover who they’re becoming. Through rigorous academics, strengths-based development that reveals their God-given design, and authentic community where faith is lived and character is formed, something shifts. They think critically, live faithfully, and contribute purposefully. They’re equipped to live for God’s glory.
