Arise Christian College is a sister school to Maitland Christian School. We share our campus, our values, our faith, and our founding church, Metford Community Baptist Church. It was established because we believe every child is created by God with intention, and that conviction doesn’t stop at the door of a mainstream classroom.
Arise exists for students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, ASD, language delays, and other diagnoses that create a significant barrier to learning. In a small, caring environment with personalised support and limited class sizes, every student is truly known, and given every opportunity to grow into who God created them to be.
Students from both schools share the same campus, break times, sports carnivals, camps, and mission activities. Where appropriate, Arise students can access up to 20% of their academic time within MCS, a natural, supported pathway into a broader community. Two schools, one shared purpose: growing faith, character, and ability in every student, for God’s glory.
