Our Missions Programs play a key role in helping students understand that faith is not something to be kept to themselves, but something to be lived out through service, generosity, and love for others. Through intentional learning experiences, students are equipped with the understanding, skills, and awareness needed to serve Jesus and care for the wellbeing of those around them.
By encouraging faith in action, the Missions Program helps students grow in confidence as they learn to share God’s love in practical and meaningful ways—both within our school community and beyond.

Local Mission
This mission team will focus on supporting the housing and wider community surrounding the school. Activities may include initiatives such as backyard clean‑ups, preparing and delivering meals, and other practical acts of service designed to assist and encourage local residents who are genuinely facing significant challenges. Working together, the team will explore meaningful ways to practically support and uplift neighbours and others in need within our local community. This initiative has been highly successful in previous years, with heartfelt appreciation expressed by those who have been supported through the efforts of our student teams.
Empowering
Empowering is a music / drama / gospel sharing team that visits Primary schools to share a program and positive interactions with students in those schools. This has been undertaken locally for the past few years. We have the opportunity to undertake another local trip, or for our students to travel further afield and be based in the Central West of NSW and to serve schools in that area of NSW as well. If your child has a passion for music, drama or sharing the gospel this would be a great mission team to join.
Hike
Having been completed by four student groups since 2013, this is a significant physical challenge and also an opportunity to raise funds for worthwhile causes. Students conquer the path from Wollongong to Sydney, including the amazing Royal National Park. Over 100kms in a week is lots of hard work but brings a huge reward for those involved and also for those in receipt of monies raised.
Overseas
Each year, we take a team of secondary students to serve in the communities in the Solomon Islands. These experiences provide students with the opportunity to step beyond their own context, grow in compassion, and live out their faith through practical service.Our students develop resilience, humility, and a deeper understanding of community. Most importantly, they learn what it means to serve others in love, building meaningful relationships and reflecting Christ’s compassion through action as well as words.
