During the Term 2, our Primary students embraced Mission Week on the 21st and 22nd May – learning that serving others can be simple, intentional and deeply meaningful.
We’re proud of the kindness, teamwork and generosity shown as students sought to be a blessing in our community.
Highlights included:
- Baking treats and preparing care packs for Maitland Hospital staff and patients
- Creating gift bags to encourage Yr 12 students during exams
- A Walkathon raising funds for Love Mercy
- Leading a Scripture Assembly at Nillo Infants School
- Planting and mulching through the Gardening Mission Group
- Visiting aged care residents for fellowship and singing
- Completing hikes to raise funds for Love Mercy’s Well Worth It project
- Baking to bless local emergency services and community workers
- Washing staff cars to raise funds for Love Mercy
