Our Year 5 students enjoyed a fantastic few days of Adventure, Learning and Fun! exploring Bathurst and the Blue Mountains. At Scenic World, they took in sweeping valley views, which was a beautiful reminder of God’s creation, before ending the evening with lively games and a night full of teamwork and laughter.
Day two took students to Bathurst, where they stepped back into 1800s Australia and discovered how the gold rush shaped our nation. Panning for gold was a clear favourite. That night, they returned to Katoomba for campfires, marshmallows and shared stories.
The final day included a scenic bushwalk and activities such as archery, giving students the chance to try new skills and grow in confidence.
Throughout the camp, our dedicated Year 5 staff supported students as they embraced new challenges, strengthened friendships and built resilience beyond the classroom.
