Our Year 6 students recently enjoyed an unforgettable excursion to Canberra, bringing their learning about Australia’s system of government to life. From exploring Parliament House and participating in a mock parliament to testing their skills at the Australian Institute of Sport, students experienced hands-on learning beyond the classroom.
The adventure also included visits to Questacon, the Dinosaur Museum and Canberra’s embassies, before a highlight for many: a trip to the snow at Corin Forest. Snowball fights, tobogganing and building snowmen created memories that will last a lifetime.
Beyond the educational experiences, the excursion provided valuable opportunities for students to strengthen friendships, embrace new experiences and create lasting memories together. It was a Canberra adventure they will remember for years to come!
