Our Vision and Purpose

Maitland Christian School exists for one reason: to partner with families to help each child grow into who God created them to be. Everything we do, how we teach, how we build community, how we develop character, flows from this. Grounded in biblical wisdom and proven educational methods, we’re not just preparing students for what comes next. We’re equipping them to live with faith, purpose, and courage for God’s glory.

Our Purpose

Do all for God’s Glory.

Our Mission

To be a Christian educational community, growing faith, character and abilities through teaching and learning excellence, partnering with families and the Church.

Strategic Vision
Strengthening Kingdom Culture

We strengthen Kingdom Culture, by acknowledging that our identity is in Christ, and our culture is underpinned by intentional spiritual formation for every part of our community - including our students, staff, families Board and the wider connections. We are distinctly Christian, and our purpose and values are integrated into everything we do. We are bold in realising our Kingdom impact and aligning all we do with the gospel and person of Jesus.

Growing In Excellence

We pursue excellence, which strengthens our whole school community to achieve their full potential. Our commitment to modelling and growing in excellence is evident across our school from early learning to year 12. Collective efficacy is valued and developed by our teaching, administrative and operational staff.

Building Community

Each of us are connected by our commitment to care for and build our intergenerational community. We equip our students, staff, families and Board to work together and relate to each other with loving kindness and resilience. We are enriched as we contribute and serve within the wider community.

Embedding Systems

The organisational and governance systems of our school enable us to operate with effectiveness, quality and consistency in an every-changing environment. Our systems, policies and frameworks are agile and clearly communicated, providing the structure that enables us to deliver our purpose.
